New Korean drama channel tvN Africa launches tonight with four K-dramas including Encounter, one of the highest rated Korean dramas in cable television history.
In the series, Cha Soo-hyun is the daughter of a politician whose life has always been under the control of those around her.
After a recent divorce from her unfaithful husband, she goes on a business trip to Cuba.
There she meets Kim Jin-hyeok, a free spirited young man, and falls in love despite their differences.
But what happens when they meet again in Korea?

The 78th Golden Globe Awards will honour the best in American television of 2020, as well as film in 2020 and early 2021, as chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
The ceremony takes place nearly two months later than normal, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on cinema and on television.
This will be the first bi-coastal ceremony, with Tina Fey co-hosting from the Rainbow Room in New York City, and Amy Poehler co-hosting from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
The Crown is the most-nominated television series with six noms, followed by Schitt's Creek with five.

In the series premiere, Anton Muziwakhe Lembede: What does it mean to be African?
Anton Lembede (1914 – 1947) was in many respects an architect of African nationalism in South Africa.
He was one our first great intellectuals, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Law degree as well as a Masters in Philosophy.
He was a linguist and the founding president of the ANC Youth League.
He died at 33 but left an indelible mark on our history having stood for African excellence, hard work, grit and education.
What was its that drove him to break the institutional barriers placed before him? How did he inspire a new generation of artists and leaders, setting foundations for African brilliance?
This episode explores how this remarkable man inspired so many young people today to achieve their own greatness.
