Introduced to the DStv package with three other channels in the Chello Zone stable (CBS Action, JimJam and MGM) in November 2013, CBS Drama was available across Africa and was for viewers who love gritty storylines, nostalgic glamour, on-screen passionate love affairs and iconic cliff-hangers.
The channel featured famous TV series from the biggest programming library in the world; from glam super-soaps Dallas and Melrose Place, and critically acclaimed romance Beauty & The Beast and family dramas 7th Heaven and Half & Half.
With network and territory premieres, along with celebrated series viewers have been missing, CBS Drama branded itself as the home of the best in guilty pleasure entertainment.
CBS Chello Zone UK Channels is a portfolio of six UK entertainment channels owned by the CBS Chello Zone UK Channels Partnership, a joint venture established in September 2009 between CBS Studios International and Chello Zone.
The channels include CBS Reality, CBS Reality +1, CBS Drama, CBS Action, Horror Channel and Horror Channel +1 and feature a broad assortment of drama, reality and long form content from CBS's extensive television library, complemented by entertainment programming from third party suppliers.
