ABOUT

CBS Justice is a joint venture between AMC Networks International – UK and CBS Studios International, which launched in Africa on DStv channel 170, replacing the now-defunct Crime + Investigation channel.

The channel features a curated selection of original and acquired programming, although most of the shows are re-runs of content that previously aired on Crime + Investigation, CBS Action and sister channel CBS Reality.

The launch line up of CBS Justice included original productions The Real Prime Suspect, Donal MacIntyre's Murder Files, Secrets of a Psychopath, Evidence of Evil and When Missing Turns to Murder.

Acquisitions to launch on the channel included Cold Justice, Fame Kills and Stalker!.

A number of shows that previously aired on sister channel CBS Reality also decuted on the channel at launch, including Wives with Knives, Voice of a Killer, 48 Hours, Crimes That Shook Australia, Homicide's Elite, Death By Gossip, Written In Blood and World's Most Evil Killers.

All the cases brought in front of viewers are presented and investigated by experts such as Jackie Malton (The Real Prime Suspect), the real-life inspiration behind Helen Mirren's character in the UK drama Prime Suspect; and undercover investigative journalist and professor of criminology, Donal MacIntyre.
