ABOUT

Star Network - a fully-owned subsidiary of 21st Century Fox - launched the HD channel Star Life in August 2018. It is a 24-hour English-language channel available on Openview, GOtv and DStv, aimed as a crossover between Indian and African entertainment.

The channel showcases family dramas (daily soaps and telenovelas, short and long form), celebrity dance shows and movies from its library of A-List Bollywood movies.

The channel aims to bring to Africa "extraordinary journeys of ordinary people, progressive storylines, inspirational characters and compelling dramas – produced to the highest international production standards."
