About TVSA
TVSA is an independent television website that provides viewers with a "TV companion" - a place to discuss, read about, be kept up to date on and relive their viewing experience.
A spin-off from the pop culture website TashiTagg.com, the site launched on 2 May, 2006 and is owned and operated by Luke Tagg and Tashi Lampropoulos Tagg.
The site covers most of the channels and TV platforms available to South Africans and boasts the world's largest database of South African shows and actors.
South Africa's television channels all have their own websites but before TVSA there was no central place for TV-lovers to gather and share their passion for the silver screen, in a total TV environment.

The site features daily highlights and premieres, editorial, blogs, polls, teasers, show and actor pages, image and video galleries and more.
TVSA members can set up social profiles, rate shows and actors, review shows, message other TVSA members and post comments and replies to articles and other posts.
TVSA currently has
150709 registered members.
TVSA aims to keep the television experience alive long after the credits have run their course.
The site is also a tool for channels and broadcasters to make use of in order to remain dedicated to providing the best possible entertainment for South Africans.
To this end we developed the TVSA Ratings - our own ratings system, calculated using
the Bayesian average which allows readers/viewers to rate two crucial aspects of television: shows and actors.
Most importantly TVSA is designed to entertain and inform TV-lovers.
