Prayers are held for Shoki as Laz keeps the collective focused. At the hospital, Nkosi wakes up, and Msizi fears he'll remember the brake failure.

At the hospital, Nkosi blames himself for the crash after learning Mfihlakalo is gone. Msizi hides the truth, comforting Faith. Nomsa arrives, eager to see Shoki.

Soka discovers that Lucas faked his medical bills. Mampho subsequently meets Mathandi at the coffee shop and is stunned to learn that Lucas' girlfriend is only 19 years old and pregnant with his child.

Nomsa asks Nkosi to attend Shoki's funeral and he surprises everyone by agreeing. Nkosi's speech, filled with regret, overwhelms Msizi, who flees the graveside.

Nkosi is shaken when Ona suggests that Msizi may have caused the car crash that killed Shoki to stop them from exposing him. Meanwhile, Mampho and Mathandi unite to expose Lucas.
