ABOUT

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) partnered with MultiChoice to launch SABC Encore in 2015, an entertainment channel exclusively available on DStv.

The channel showcased vintage South African comedies, dramas, kiddies and lifestyle shows from the 1980s and 1990s, including iconic titles such as 'Sgudi 'Snaysi, Agter Elke Man, Interster, Ubambo Lwami, Pumpkin Patch, Haas Das en Nuuskas, Dikolong and Hlala Kwabafileyo, among many others.

SABC Encore was discontinued on 31 May, 2020.
