Bad Behaviour lays bare the landscape of South Africa's often unregulated programmes, rehabs and discipline camps that together loosely form the Troubled Teen Industry (TTI).
The four-episode series goes behind the scenes at South Africa's most notorious drug rehab facility, Noupoort Christiaan Care Centre in the Northern Cape.
It's considered the last stop for teens with substance abuse issues, as well as a discipline camp that has garnered attention via social media.
It also investigates Rising Stars Generation, founded by Prince Motlou, which uses military-style training to address behavioural issues in children as young as nine.
At another such camp, Echo Wild Game Rangers based outside of Vereeniging, a grieving mother must come to terms with the mysterious death of her teenage son while he was in a programme where young men are sent to learn the skills to become game rangers.
Bad Behaviour delves into some of the stories that take place behind closed doors at these facilities, which have been accused of dangerous detox practices and fostering cult-like behaviours.

How do they go to bed knowing that I am out there? Did they ever try to find me or how will my life change when I find them?
The show first seeks to explore what the abandoned child has gone through all these years, before Phumeza sets off to locate their parents to get them to respond to the child's unanswered questions.
The final part of the show sees Phumeza attempt to reunite the two in a physical or virtual meeting to find a sense of closure and way forward.
