Bio
Khadija Heeger is a South African actress and poet best known for her role as mayor Tilla Cloete in the kykNET & kie soapie Arendsvlei.
Her television debut was a cameo role in the kykNET crime drama series Die Byl, playing a café owner in Season 1, Episode 9, which aired on 6 September, 2016.
Since then she has acted in numerous other television series including Sara se Geheim, Projek Dina, Afgrond, 7de Laan, G.I.L, Die Sentrum, Alles Malan, Devil's Peak, White Lies, Spinners and Plan B.
She has also appeared in feature films and television movies including Atlantis, Avokado, SWIRL and Down So Long.
Her first starring role came in the M-Net drama series Recipes for Love and Murder, which debuted on 20 March, 2022.
Khadija recurred as Tilla Cloete on Arendsvlei for all six seasons, from 2019-2024.
She landed her second starring role in television when she was cast as series lead Jasmine Louw, the owner of both Everlasting Farm and Everlasting Florist & Bistro in Gemoedsdrif, in the kykNET & kie telenovela Skemergrond.
The series premiered on 1 July, 2024.
