Stiletto Vendetta

Four beautiful, successful women - childhood friends who are brought back together as adults - have old scores to settle and new rivalries to work on.

As teenagers Arzu, Merve and Pelin played a cruel prank on their over-achieving best friend Oya, leaving her shamed, devastated and suicidal.

Over the years the three remained close but didn't hear again from Oya, never daring to make contact and fearing the worst - that they had driven her to take her own life.

When fate brings the foursome back together, Oya is determined to get close to the women who threatened to ruin her life... and seek her final revenge.

The series features a number of South African voices in the dub, including Getroud met Rugby stars Altus Theart, Marlee van der Merwe and Christel van den Bergh.

Love Back 5

Love Back is a South African reality television series based on the premise that someone who has lost the love of their life can get a shot at winning their heart back, as the former lover seeks to reconcile.

Love Back was filmed across South Africa with the aim of showing how people overcome the obstacles that might be holding back a perfect couple from getting together again.

This season is hosted by Mzwandile Ngubeni (Spirit Sundae,The River).

Signs of Evil - The Runes of the SS

Channel: Curiosity Channel (DStv 185)
TX Time: 20h00
Genre: Documentary, History

Signs of Evil - The Runes of the SS

The symbol of the SS, Hitler's Schutzstaffel, stands for terror and the murder of millions.

The penniless graphic artist Walter Heck was given the job of designing the jagged, rune-like characters in 1929.

The "sig" rune was rooted deep in the ideological cosmos of the Nazis and their supporters.

They saw themselves as the descendants of the Teutons and declared the runes to be humanity's original Germanic script.

The symbol was meant to unite Heinrich Himmler's "Black Order". But did it escape their notice that it was originally of Semitic origin?

In October 1945, the Allies passed a law banning the Nazi Party and all associated organisations, including the SS. The young Federal Republic even forbade all Nazi symbols.

This documentary tells the gripping story of the SS symbol, from the Middle Ages to the present day.

Urgh... infuriating!!

A different The Bay started on Tuesday instead of the mystery drama about Detective Lisa Armstrong.

There's been no publicist to confirm the new shows on the channel formerly known as SABC3. All we had to work with was the show name and the channel's schedule on the DStv EPG, which said it was the mystery drama we listed.

Turns out it's a web soapie series called The Bay with Days star Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Brady) and Ronn Moss (Bold). We've updated the listing to reflect this.
