There are people with the remarkable talent to communicate with animals and in Dierepraters (Animal Whisperers) we get to know some of these fascinating personalities.
To communicate with animals is an age-old art that has gained new momentum and interest recently.
Although the ability of these specialists can sometimes be seen as esoteric and slightly mysterious, many of their techniques are based on science – from homeopathy and geometry to kinetics and body language.
The presenter of the series is actress Daniah de Villiers (Binnelanders), who is also an animal activist.
She is assisted by Hettie Richter, an animal communicator.
In each of the episodes, specialists in their fields share their knowledge.
We see what techniques are used to find out what domestic and wild animals think and why they react the way they do.
The series will also focus on the impact people and animals have on each other.
Other animal communicators in the series include the specialist kinesiologist Annalize Carelse, who helps cats with jealousy.
There's also Enid Fox, who shares her techniques, including how to help animals and their owners when the animal has to be put down.
Well-known animal personalities like lion whisperer Kevin Richardson, Anna Breytenbach and Groen Namibië's Marlice van Vuuren will look at the relationship between human and animal.

Hawaii Five-0 is a contemporary take on the classic series about a new elite federalised task force whose mission is to wipe out the crime that washes up on the Islands' sun-drenched beaches.
Detective Steve McGarrett, a decorated Naval officer-turned-cop, returns to Oahu to investigate his father's murder and stays after Hawaii's Governor persuades him to head up the new team: his rules, her backing, no red tape and full blanket authority to hunt down the biggest "game" in town.
Joining McGarrett is Detective Danny "Danno" Williams, a newly relocated ex-New Jersey cop - a working man in paradise who prefers skyscrapers to the coastline - but whose committed to keeping the Islands safe for his 8-year-old daughter Grace.
There's also Chin Ho Kelly, an ex-Honolulu Police Detective, and former protégé of McGarrett's father, wrongly accused of corruption and relegated to a federal security patrol.
In the Season 5 premiere, "Nowhere to Hide": The island of O'ahu goes on lockdown when Five-0 hunts a terrorist who starts using weaponised drones on civilians.
Meanwhile, McGarrett and Danno must go for a mandated review with a psychologist, resulting in a session which looks a lot like couples therapy.

It is said that a camino or pilgrimage starts at your own front door.
For Erns Grundling, it started with doing the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Later he went walkabout in Japan.
For the third season he kept it local, travelling from his home in Cape Town to Agulhas; the Cape winelands and the Overberg.
For the fourth season, Erns and the team travelled to Namibia for 45 days, travelling close to 8,000 kilometres.
They started in the south at the Orange River and the Noordoewer border post, then moved north through the NamibRand, went to Sossusvlei and Solitaire and had a stopover at Walvis Bay and Swakopmund.
They went further north to places like Brandberg and Palmwag and eventually to the Epupa Falls in the Cunene River on the Angolan border.
From there they travelled south via Etosha and Windhoek to the Fishriver Canyon.
