Mzansi Magic (DStv 161)
Abomama returns for a second season of turmoil, drama and suspense as Tshidi, Fumane, Mapule and Dora deal with the consequences of their actions.
Khabonina Qubeka replaces Khanyi Mbau this season as Tshidi, the unhappy wife of a doctor who is dealing with infertility and an unstable marriage.
She joins original cast members Joyce Skefu (Fumane), Nokuthula Ledwaba (Mapule) and Unati Guma (Dora) as the women of God who find themselves drawn into a world of organised crime.
After they find a stash of stolen cash, they are forced to use their stokvel to launder money for the "real" owner of the stolen loot, Bonanza, played by Kenneth Nkosi.
This season, the women try to move on with their lives following the murder of Bonanza.
But they are forced back together when a naked, young woman mysteriously arrives on the steps of Hope of Glory Church.
Mapule sees the appearance of the woman, who has amnesia, as an opportunity for them to find redemption for their past deeds; while Raki (Masechaba Moshoeshoe) is instantly doubtful of the woman.
Mapule takes the woman in, names her Amogelang and nurses her back to health, but soon it becomes evident that there is more to her than meets the eye.
Once again, their actions find them drawn back into the world they so desperately want to escape.
Lumka, who was played by Nozuko Ncayiyane in Season 1, will now be played by Busisiwe Mtshali.

World War II: The Battle of Midway
HISTORY (DStv 186)
By attacking Midway Atoll, at the far western end of the Hawaiian chain, the Japanese hoped to lure the US Pacific Fleet into the open sea and destroy it.
Instead, due to superb US intelligence and costly Japanese tactical errors, the attack marked the destruction of the Japanese Fleet and the end of Tokyo's supremacy in the Pacific Ocean.
This film portrays the momentous battle in a day-by-day account.

Africa boasts one of the richest and most diverse coastlines in the world.
To the west lies the cold Atlantic Ocean, where a great upwelling provides nutrients to fuel life in incredible abundance.
To the east, the Indian Ocean offers warmer waters where coral reefs flourish and tropical species thrive.
The coast is a magnet for marine life - from enormous colonies of seals and seabirds, to patrolling sharks.
Despite the abundance and variety of life, the creatures here are feeling widespread pressures from man.
Depleted fish stocks force seals to hunt birds they share their rocky islands with; turtles mistake floating plastic for food; and sharks are killed in nets erected to protect swimmers.
In the face of increasing pressure from people, life along this coast needs help.
Luckily there is a team of experts who have dedicated their lives to safeguarding this marine ecosystem and the wonderful creatures that inhabit it.
The crew of the Angra Pequena includes scientists, conservationists and passionate volunteers. Their mission is to protect and conserve our planet's waters.
