Bio
Nokuthula Ledwaba is a South African actress best known for her roles in two e.tv soapies: as wild child Lu in Backstage and as diva-in-the-making Tshidi Khuse on Rhythm City.
She also has a starring role as Dumile, a city girl born and raised in Soweto who is the second wife in a polygamous marriage, in the e.tv drama series Umlilo.
Prior to her roles in television, Tshidi did a lot of children's and educational theatre productions that toured South Africa and the UK.
Her dream role is playing a modern day Lady Macbeth.
She was nominated for a Golden Horn award for her role in Rhythm City in the category Best Supporting Actress in a TV Soap at the third annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs), held at the State Theatre in Pretoria on Saturday 7 February, 2009.
