Established in 2015, the Johannesburg International Comedy Festival has become one of the biggest celebrations of stand-up comedy on the continent.
It showcases the best in local and international comedy talent performing to thousands of fans in multiple shows across the different venues at the Joburg Theatre in Braamfontein.
The festival rolls out its third edition with over 40 local, continental and international comedians taking over the Nelson Mandela & The Fringe Theatres.
International acts include Dane Baptiste from the UK; Britain's Got Talent finalist Daliso Chaponda from Malawi and from the United Arab Emirates, Ali Al Sayed.
Performing alongside the guest comedians are Mzansi talents such as Loyiso Gola, John Vlismas, Tumi Morake, Conrad Koch and Chester Missing, Kagiso Lediga and Schalk Bezuidenhout.
In keeping with its commitment to providing a platform for young talent, JICF also features Tsitsi Chiumya, KG Mokgadi and Prins in the lineup.
This is a three-part special, airing over three Saturdays: 11th, 18th and 25th April 2020.
Stolen By My Mother: The Kamiyah Mobley Story

In the summer of 1998, Gloria Williams, reeling from a recent miscarriage, drove from her home in South Carolina and walked into a Jacksonville, Florida hospital posing as a nurse and took newborn Kamiyah Mobley out of her mother Shanara Mobley's arms.
By the time police were alerted, Gloria was long gone. Renaming the baby Alexis, Gloria raised her as her own, providing her with unconditional love and nurturing.
It wasn't until years later, when Alexis applied for her first job and couldn't provide a social security card or a birth certificate, that she realised something was wrong.
As questions mounted, Gloria was forced to tell Alexis the truth, that she was Kamiyah Mobley and was abducted as a baby.
Despite discovering the mother she knew was her kidnapper, Alexis kept the secret as long as she could, until an anonymous tip soon led to Gloria's arrest and their world came tumbling down.

Every episode reveals challenges and aims to provide messages of reassurance to individuals and families.
In addition to 'decoding messages' from the unknown, Ubizo's core themes include exploring ancestry, resolving maternal and paternal identity issues, marriage and how it affects individuals, miscarriage and abortion, African spirituality vs religion as well as the passing of souls.
