Follows the journey of two young Xhosa men whose passion for rugby finds them leaving rural Eastern Cape for Johannesburg in the hopes of becoming rugby stars.
The find themselves competing for a scholarship at a prominent private boys school and this hierarchal environment tests the notion of their identity and manhood as they seek acceptance from an institution that is foreign to them.
In this coming-of-age story, both young men must make the transition from the dusty rural streets to competing at the highbrow private school in the city.
There is much tension and internal conflict as one of the boys is royalty and is expected to return to his village to assume chieftaincy.
Throughout their journey, their moral fibre is seriously tested as they search for their own definition of manhood.
Ultimately the question becomes: are these two boys 'man' enough to forgive one another for the sins of their parents and overcome the betrayals of the past?

This season, there is peace and harmony at Fransenburg after Ferdie decided to cut short his political career - so short that he's considering retiring even though he can't afford to.
And, to add insult to injury, the mayor Stephano Stutterheim plans to demolish the hotel to make way for the Mautrain.
Ferdie still considers retiring but quickly realises that he will be easily forgotten, which makes him more determined than ever to leave a legacy that even his great grandchildren will remember.
Jony discovers a new love, who comes to stay at the hotel and gets in Thomas' way.

As these competitors work together, they will only have two options: to persevere and win or give up and "ring out."
Throughout the season, "the cadre," who represent top branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and real-life heroes, will impart their first-hand knowledge and experience to help their team work together to surmount near-impossible mental and physical challenges.
No test these competitors have ever faced will prepare them for the extreme military-inspired training they will undergo.
Each week, the teams will compete in survival-themed challenges, incorporating basic needs, as well as communication, mental prowess, physical strength and adaptability, in some of America's harshest conditions.
The team that wins the challenge each week is safe from elimination, and "the cadre" leaders from the remaining teams must select one contestant to face "The Circus," a grueling obstacle course built into the wilderness that tests both strength and endurance.
The only way for a contestant to lose is to "ring out," at which point they must leave the competition and forfeit their chance to take home the grand prize.
