Sometimes we get to a point where we are fed up with trying to convince and prove ourselves to people. Going out of your way and sometimes losing oneself in the process.

We then end up being fake just because we feel like we need to possess certain traits in order to belong to the particular group we think is cool. If it inspires you, however, let it be like a seed planted somewhere within. Water it and nurture it so that it grows and one day produce good fruit. Not forgetting the seasons that will come inevitably to wither the leaves. Also bearing in mind that there is severe need for pruning to take place along the process. This means letting go of the people and habits we think we can't do without. That is one big step to facing our fears and learning to stand on our own feet, believing we can do it. That is when our humility is also put to the test, to say when we try and fail, we can still reach out to the right people and ask for help. People we know can freely do so with the right intentions of seeing us succeed, expecting so little. That being said, never get too relaxed and comfortable to take advantage of the people who stand by you. They have feelings too!

About a decade ago, I read a book written by Ellen G White. It explained how proper salvation and transformation works. This has nothing to do with affiliation of faith, but rather a good, humane lifestyle that makes us a disciplined, happier and better people. In that book, she said it all starts inside, out. The conviction within the heart and willingness to change, will ultimately affect our behavior, attitude, character and the way see things among many other best characteristics that constitute to a strong and beautiful personality.
Once we allow situations to push us to the edge, whereby we see the need to "fake it until we learn it", that is when we get it all wrong. It's usually hard to begin transformation from the outside, in. As they say, charity begins at home. How can you be a good leader who can usher people to the best stages in life when you can't face your own fears? Often times we observe from afar and give the best advice and opinions towards the situations of other people in life. But would we really be able to apply the same if we were in the ring ourselves, faced with the same situation?

Now, let people appreciate you for who you are; the real you. Whoever you may think is the best person could simply be the best version of themselves. We can't all be the same. That's what actually makes this world beautiful - our different personalities and character.

There are times when we face challenges and we conquer, sometimes we fail. Sometimes we work as a team where we get compared to the next person. If that is the case, then what is the use of having teams? As teams we cover up each other's weaknesses and complement the strengths of the other. We may find ourselves faced with a situation where we have to prove ourselves.
