Channel: Universal TV (DStv 117)
TX Time: 20h00
Genre: Action, Police Procedural, Comedy-Drama

Magnum P.I. 4

Jay Hernandez stars as Thomas Magnum in a modern take on the classic series about a decorated former Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator in Hawaii.

A charming rogue, an American hero and a die-hard Detroit Tigers fan, Magnum lives in a guest cottage on Robin's Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business.

The "majordomo" of the property is Juliet Higgins, a beautiful and commanding disavowed MI:6 agent whose second job is to keep Magnum in line, with the help of her two Dobermans.

When Magnum needs back-up on a job, he turns to his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, Theodore "TC" Calvin, a former Marine chopper pilot who runs Island Hoppers, a helicopter tour business; and Orville "Rick" Wright, a former Marine door-gunner-turned-impresario of Oahu's coolest nightclub and the most connected man on the island.

Suspicious of Magnum's casual attitude and presence at his crime scenes, Detective Gordon Katsumoto (Tim Kang) finds that he and Magnum are more alike than either of them care to admit.

With keys to a vintage Ferrari in one hand, aviator sunglasses in the other, and an Old Düsseldorf longneck chilling in the fridge, Thomas Magnum is back on the case.

In the Season 4 premiere, "Island Vibes": Magnum is tasked with finding a single mum being hunted by two very dangerous gangs.

Meanwhile, Higgins is abroad with Ethan and a misstep forces her to assist an old employer.

In the second episode of the weekly double bill, "The Harder They Fall": While Magnum and Higgins reunite and work the case of a construction worker's tragic death, TC and Shammy get skyjacked by a pair of drug runners posing as tourists.

Today, with most haenyeo now in their 60s, 70s and 80s, their traditions and way of life are in imminent danger.

But these fierce, funny and hardworking women refuse to give an inch, aided by a younger generation's fight to revive their ancestral lifestyle through social media.

The story unfolds into an uplifting tale of women taking on world powers to protect their beloved ocean and inspire a new generation.

Bobi Wine: The People's President

This documentary charts the unlikely rise of Bobi Wine, the pop star-turned-politician seeking to end Uganda's brutal dictatorship.

Born in the slums of Kampala, Bobi Wine - Ugandan opposition leader, former member of parliament, activist and national superstar musician - risks his life and the lives of his wife, Barbie, and their children to fight the ruthless regime led by Yoweri Museveni.

Museveni has been in power since 1986 and changed Uganda's constitution to enable him to run for yet another five-year term.

Running in the country's 2021 presidential elections, Bobi Wine uses his music to denounce the dictatorial regime and support his life mission to defend the oppressed and the voiceless people of Uganda.

In this fight, he must also take on the country's police and military, which are not afraid to use violence and torture in a vain attempt to intimidate and silence him and his supporters.
