uThando Nes'thembu 5

Channel: Mzansi Magic (DStv 161)
TX Time: 20h00
Genre: Docu-Reality

uThando Nes'thembu 5

Follows businessman Musa Mseleku and his wives as they navigate a polygamous relationship, their family dynamic, staying true to tradition in a modern world and the sisterhood of the wives.

While the wives now maintain a loving and respectful relationship with each other, the journey to peace and harmony was not an easy one.

They each share how they felt at first being introduced into a polygamous marriage, the uncertainty and insecurity that came with the arrangement, heartbreak and eventual acceptance, contentment and forming an unshakable bond with each other.

Season 4 ended on a cliffhanger, with Musa confronting his wives about the lack of harmony between the households, wives dressing inappropriately, and other accusations that divide the family.

Season 5 picks up with the Mseleku wives reuniting to fix their issues and explore what led to them in the first place.

MaMkhulu takes the lead by organising an all-girls trip – but will this have the intended effect, or will it only sow further seeds of division?

This doesn't mean Musa is off the hook – he is taken to task by his wives for his own shortcomings, such as his inconsistency and lack of truthfulness when it comes to how he deals with his wives.

Season 5 continues to explore each woman's storyline, from MaCele's intention to move out of the homestead and MaYeni's journey as a grandmother, to MaNgwabe trying to heal her shaky marriage and Thobile navigating her fertility issues.

In the beginning it seemed Musa understood the adage "happy wife, happy life", but as the seasons have progressed, he has struggled to keep everyone happy.

Will he finally find his way back to marital equilibrium, or has he built a house of cards?

In the Season 5 premiere: During a lunch date with Musa, Macele is brought to tears by an unexpected stranger.

The wives put aside their differences to plan a celebration for their husband.

Border Wars 3

An estimated 10+ million people live in the U.S. illegally. From the controversial border fence to controversial immigration laws, illegal immigration is hotly debated.

For those responsible for securing the borders, protecting the nation goes beyond politics, as they intercept daily an illicit flow of narcotics, money and weapons.

The risks have never been higher, with the violent Mexican drug wars a stone's throw from U.S. soil and criminals armed with increasingly sophisticated technology.

Ride shotgun with agents patrolling the Rio Grande, just across from the epicenter of violent cartel wars, where heavily armed criminals outnumber agents.

See how ground and air units use the latest military-grade technology, including drones, thermal imaging and mobile cameras.

And join agents as they raid stash houses to break up smuggling operations, or risk their own lives to save those close to succumbing to harsh weather and terrain.

In the Season 3 premiere, "Seize and Destroy": Drugs, guns, cars and money are just some of the items confiscated on a typical day by Customs and Border Protection.

But what happens to this contraband after it is seized? In a special episode, Border Wars reveals what happens to all the loot.

Everything that CBP confiscates at the border must be handled with care: stored, accounted for and transported with the utmost security, and disposed of in a safe and legally mandated manner.
