Ron Perlman is an American actor best known for his starring role as Vincent in the television series Beauty and the Beast, from 1987-1990. His work in this role earned him not only a Golden Globe Award, but a huge fan following.

He is also known for his starring role as Clarence "Clay" Morrow, the former President of SAMCRO, in the FX drama series Sons of Anarchy.

He has made numerous notable appearances in films, including Romeo is Bleeding (1993), The Adventures of Huck Finn (1994), The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996), Alien: Resurrection (1997), Enemy at the Gates (2001), Blade II (2002), Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) and Hellboy (2004).

Perlman has lent his voice to numerous video games and animated series, most notably as Slade in the Teen Titans animated series and Vice Principal Lancer in Danny Phantom.

He has also voiced Clayface in Batman: The Animated Series, Jax-Ur in Superman: The Animated Series, Orion in Justice League animated series, Graft in Phantom 2040 and Killer Croc in The Batman.

His video game credits include Lord Hood, Fleet Admiral in command of Earth's space defenses against the Covenant in the Xbox video game Halo 2; Jagger Valance in The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay; Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction; Justice League Heroes as Batman; and most recently, Hellboy: Blood and Iron.

He is well-known by Fallout role-playing games fans for narrating the first three games in the series, including uttering the famous phrase "War. War never changes," which begins the opening sequences in those games.

Perlman has been married to fashion designer Opal Perlman (neé Stone) since 14 February, 1981, and he has two children, Blake Amanda (born 1984), and Brandon Avery (born 1990).
