AMA nominees are based on key fan interactions as reflected in Billboard Magazine and on Billboard.com, including album and digital song sales, radio airplay, streaming, social activity and touring.

Hosted this year by Tracee Ellis Ross, Cardi B and Drake lead the list of nominations with eight mentions each. Unlike the Grammys, which are awarded on the basis of votes by members of the Recording Academy, the AMAs are determined by a poll of the public and fans, who can vote through the AMAs website.

Trevor Gumbi... yumm! I haven't seen him in the flesh since I wrote the story about his hottness but I know I'll feel the same when I see him again.

Re-Separated at Birth... I imagine people who discover this is what happened to them would have a lot of anger to work through, espesh towards the people responsible for seperating them.
