Tracee Ellis Ross is an American actress best known for her starring role as Joan Clayton on the television sitcom Girlfriends, from 2000-2008.

She also had a starring role as psychiatrist Dr. Carla Reed in the television sitcom Reed Between the Lines, in 2011. She left the show after the first season.

She is the daughter of singer/actress Diana Ross.
