Taraji P. Henson will host the 2021 BET Awards and Grammy award-winning musician and actress Queen Latifah will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement BET Award.
Latifah has had much success since her career began in Hollywood and became the first hip-hop artist to be crowned with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2006.
The theme of the awards this year is "The Year of Black Women" is a celebration to honour trailblazing black women across the globe.
Performers this year include Andra Day, City Girls, DaBaby, DJ Khaled, H.E.R., Jazmine Sullivan, Kirk Franklin, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Migos, Moneybagg Yo!, Rapsody, Roddy Ricch, Tyler The Creator and many more.
Additionally, up and coming artists Tone Stith and Bree Runway will be gracing the BET Amplified Stage.
Dominating this year's nominations are Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby with a total of seven nominations each including Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Video of the Year for Megan, and Best Male Hip Hop Artist and Album of the Year for DaBaby's Blame it on Baby.
Cardi B and Drake follow closely behind with five nominations each.
Other leading nominees include Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars, Chloe x Halle and Chris Brown, garnering four nominations each.

In the Season 3 premiere, "Improvise": Three months after quitting the Phoenix Foundation and moving to Nigeria, Mac puts aside his differences with his father and returns when he hears Jack is the target of a murderous dictator he double-crossed.
Local talent is on show in this episode in the form of Hakeem Kae-Kazim in the role of Solomon.
Law of the Heart 2

In the second season of Law of the Heart we find the lawyers dedicated to their cases.
These experts in family and criminal law - Pablo, Alfredo, Nicolás, María, Catalina, Julia and Marcos - deal with family conflicts, couples and criminals, but this time in the context of the construction and consolidation of their new law firm, after the liquidation of Cabal: Ortega, Domínguez and Associates.
The arrival of the prestigious lawyer Adela Zambrano allowed them to establish their new law firm and this new firm will come with a couple of lawyers who worked with her.
They are Dr. Soledad Santamaría, expert in criminal law and Dr. Valentín Martelo, expert in family law.
Also this season, we will learn much more about the romantic and personal lives of the lawyers.
Alfredo and Catalina enjoy their "happy" married life, but they will discover that there are difficulties to fulfilling their dream of becoming parents.
María and Nicolás will decide to take another step in their relationship and will develop a stormy romance.
On the other hand, Marcos and Camila will continue their romance, and we will see more clearly the professional and social promotion of Marcos and the conflicts that this will represent for the couple.
Finally, Pablo Domínguez - who achieved the adoption and joint custody of his children - must live with the children and at the same time work on his relationship with Julia Escallón.
This situation will delay and complicate their relationship, showing the difficult evolution of a "contemporary" courtship, where one of the parties has responsibilities with children.
In the Season 2 premiere: Although distance played a trick on Pablo and Julia, true love is behind the door of the new law firm.
