Each episode lays out in real time and is exactly like 24, except instead of following a government agent as he saves the planet, the series follows a perennial loser called Stuart as his life goes down the pan in a suburban cul-de-sac.

All Stuart wants is a quiet life as a wedding DJ but his family seems to have other ideas.

On top of barely coping with a (much younger) partner April and a newborn baby, Stuart also has to look out for his jailbird brother Charlie and his promiscuous, drug-taking Dad Willie.

Then there's the ex-wife Kate, who lives across the cul-de-sac with their teenage daughter Madonna and Kate's husband Ted, who thinks he's better than Stuart because he sells fish to sushi restaurants.

In the series premiere: Things haven't been going well for Stu and April since the birth of their baby.

Faced with a make-or-break date, Stu has to contend with disruptions from his inappropriate Dad, extortionist brother and an almighty argument erupting next door.

In Part A of season 5, Lucifer's twin brother Michael secretly takes the devil's place on Earth while he's back in Hell.

Eventually, Lucifer must return and face the mess his brother made with his life.

He'll also finally confront his feelings for Chloe, and answer a question fans have been asking since the very beginning: "Will they or won't they?"

And at its heart is a remarkable restoration shop run by a team of colourful and charismatic characters who use their impressive skills and experience to restore, trade and sell classic cars – transforming piles of rust into collectible car treasures.

Old-school auto collector Mike Hall, his pal Avery Shoaf and son Connor Hall go the extra mile to restore retro cars - and hopefully turn a profit.

In the Season 3 premiere, Mike keeps buying cars quicker than he can restore them, Avery and Connor visit the Motor City, and Cassidy gets cranking on a personal project.
