Celebrating its 25th year, SAMA25 boasts a string of stalwarts and pioneers in the media industry, with Melanie Bala and Bob Mabena as hosts.
The ceremony is broadcast live from the Sun City Superbowl in Rustenburg at 20h00, with a red carpet programme starting at 19h30.
The show will take it back in time with old school tunes in the Throwback segment, with tracks performed by Bongo Maffin, Trompies and other kwaito legends.
To end the night will be a finale featuring the best of the best in kwaito, gqom and amapiano, including SAMA25 nominees Kelly Khumalo, Sho Madjozi, DJ Sumbody, Dladla Mshunqisi and Mobi Dixon.

We follow them as negotiations take place, with family members sometimes bantering over the value of the lobola, women preparing the feasts and the outcome in the end.

Jake bonds with his cellmate, Caleb (guest star Tim Meadows), and is forced to join a prison gang led by notorious inmate Romero (guest star Lou Diamond Phillips), in order to gain his protection.
Meanwhile, in the women's prison, Rosa puts Holt and Terry to the test by having them complete outrageous favours for her. Back in the precinct, Amy and Charles are doing all they can to exonerate their colleagues.
In the second episode, "The Big House Pt.2", when the warden (guest star Toby Huss) asks Jake to investigate Romero's (guest star Lou Diamond Phillips) drug smuggling operation, Jake and Caleb (guest star Tim Meadows) find themselves caught between the loyalty Jake has sworn to both of them.
Meanwhile, Amy is offered a deal by a local mobster who claims he can prove that Hawkins (guest star Gina Gershon) is guilty, but Holt and the rest of the gang think they have a safer plan.
