safariLIVE looks excellent.

I've been concerned about the broadcast time - how it's being filmed LIVE if it's getting dark so I've asked about it and the show's Executive Producer Emily Wallington told me that the live aspects of it are being filmed with infra red, thermal cameras or with lights so we can see the animals.

The big cats are nocturnal so they become active at night. According to Emily, these are the animals we're likely to see:

Lion
Leopard
Wild cat
Genet
Civit
Elephant
Buffalo
Antelope
Hippo

I didn't know what a Genet or Civit is... they're these wild cats:

Genet

Civet
