Drake follows with nine nods including Hip Hop Artist of the Year and Burna Boy and DJ Khaled round out the top five with impressive seven nods each.
J. Cole scores six nods; Coi Leray, GloRilla and Jay-Z are tied at five nods each.
The 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards will commemorate the late Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes with the Global Visionary Award, recognising his impact on the global Hip-Hop landscape.

When we catch up with Kanan here, he is the 15-year-old only child of Raquel "Raq" Thomas, a cocaine distributor with an emerging network of dealers across the city.
