Heels

Heels is a story about the men and women who chase their dreams in the world of small town pro wrestling.

Set in a close-knit Georgia community, it follows a family-owned wrestling promotion as two brothers and rivals war over their late father's legacy, vying for national attention in small-town Georgia.

In the ring, somebody must play the good guy and somebody must play their nemesis, the heel.

But in the real world, those characters can be hard to live up to - or hard to leave behind.

The series stars Stephen Amell (Arrow) as Jack Spade, with Alexander Ludwig (Vikings) playing his younger brother, Ace.

Also starring is Alison Luff as Staci Spade, Jack's wife who learns that she has to contend with the emotional stakes her in-laws have invested in their wrestling goals and the demands it puts on her family.

Mary McCormack plays Willie Day, Jack's business partner and the logistical brains behind the local wrestling organisation.

Kelli Berglund stars as Crystal Tyler, Ace's valet and love interest; with Allen Maldonado as Rooster Robbins, one of the best wrestlers in the circuit who always has something to prove and always backs it up.

Also starring is two-time Super Bowl champion James Harrison as Apocalypse, a been-around-the-block journeyman wrestler who's been at it for decades and has no illusions of fame or glory.

Also, True Blood star Chris Bauer plays Wild Bill Hancock, a larger-than-life former wrestling star who is now a high-level pro wrestling scout.

In the series premiere, "Kayfabe": Jack Spade, the owner of the Duffy Wrestling League, controls everything inside of his wrestling ring.

Outside the ropes, he fights to balance his family and professional life.

Genre: Dating Game Show, Reality

Love is Blind 5

Singles who want to be loved for who they are have signed up for a less-conventional approach to modern dating in Seattle, and will choose someone to marry without ever meeting them.

Over several weeks, the newly engaged couples will move in together, plan their wedding and find out if their physical connection matches their strong emotional bond developed in the Pods.

When their wedding day arrives, will real-world realities and external factors push them apart, or will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with?

Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, this 10-episode season will uncover whether looks, race or age do matter, or if love really is blind.

The fifth season returns with a new group of Houston singles ready to hit the pods and find love.

As the experiment continues to expand, each participant's individual journey, emotional growth, and ability to embrace a new approach to dating is key — whether they find love outwardly or within.

In the most shocking season yet, the singles face new challenges, unexpected twists and surprising turns that will test their personal resolve, and the strength of their connections, more than ever before.

Even if the couples can forge a strong enough bond to get engaged sight unseen, can their love survive the challenges waiting for them in the outside world — including protective families, skeptical friends, and the exes they thought they'd left behind?

Starting today, new episodes will roll out each Friday across 10 episodes, following the couples' journey for love:

Week 1 (Friday, Sept 22): Epsiodes 1-4

Week 2 (Friday, Sept 29): Episodes 5-7

Week 3 (Friday, Oct 6): Episodes 8-9

Week 4 (Friday, Oct 13): Episode 10 (finale)

TX Time: 16h50
Genre: Comedy

Everybody Hates Chris 3

A sitcom inspired by the teenage experiences of comedian Chris Rock (who narrates the show), while growing up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighbourhood of Brooklyn.

Motivated by his childhood experiences, Rock narrates this story of a teenager growing up as the oldest of three children in Brooklyn, New York during the early 1980s.

Uprooted to a neighbourhood and bussed into a primarily white middle school two hours away by his strict, hard-working parents, Chris struggles to find his place, all while keeping his younger brother and sister in line at home and surmounting the tests of junior high school.

In the Season 3 premiere, "Everybody Hates the Guidance Counselor": After Chris tests poorly on a standard exam, his teacher, Ms. Morello, refers him to the school's guidance counselor, Mr. Abbott (played by Chris Rock).

Although Chris tries to explain that the whole situation is a big mistake and he didn't understand the importance of the test, Mr. Abbott puts him through a series of mental evaluations and eventually determines that Chris must attend a remedial class.
