It Takes a Village 3

The first two seasons of It Takes a Village featured DJ Zinhle and Teko Modise returning to their hometowns to help make a difference to the lives of the residents.

This season we follow presenter Pearl Modiadie as she returns to her hometown Tembisa, where she helps young people mend their family relationships.

Pearl gave up her home and family from Tembisa and moved into a tastefully decorated villa in Fourways to be close to radio and TV studios.

Since being nominated as the Best Presenter and hosted shows like Zaziwa and Raw Silk, Pearl struggles to find time to spend with family in her hometown.

Wentworth 7

Channel: M-Net City (DStv 115)
TX Time: 21h40
Genre: Drama

Wentworth 7

Season 7 returns with the prison on the brink of imploding as the fiery confrontation between the two emerging titans, Rita and Marie, is imminent after Season 6's bloody finale.

With the case of Joan Ferguson presumably closed, a significantly pregnant Vera and her co-conspirators in the Freak's demise, Will and Jake, are off the hook, at least for now.

Meanwhile, Wentworth's eclectic mix of misfits are fracturing as the powers of love, deception and revenge threaten to break them apart for good.

Protection is the overarching theme of this latest installment, with even the noblest heroes becoming morally compromised in their mission to defend the people they love, even if it has deadly consequences.

The onset of dementia finds Liz clutching at any semblance of hope while Boomer has to deal with the residual of her broken family.

Elders 3: Pelgrimstog van Hoop

Channel: kykNET (DStv 144)
TX Time: 20h00

Elders 3: Pelgrimstog van Hoop

It is said that a camino or pilgrimage starts at your own front door.

For Erns Grundling, it started with doing the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Later he went walkabout in Japan.

For the third season of Elders, he is keeping it local travelling from his home in Cape Town to Agulhas; the Cape winelands and the Overberg.

The Pelgrimstog van Hoop (Pilgrimage of Hope) was developed by the theologist Frederick Marais and numerous churches, missionary stations and monuments to celebrate freedom on the route.

Guests this season include Dana Snyman, Kabous Meiring, Dave Pepler, Hemelbesem, Duane Vermeulen and Lynelle Kenned.

American Murder: The Family Next Door

Channel: Netflix South Africa
TX Time: 10h00
Genre: True Crime, Documentary

American Murder: The Family Next Door

Using raw, firsthand footage, this documentary examines the disappearance of Shanann Watts and her children, and the terrible events that followed.

In 2018, 34-year-old Shanann Watts and her two young daughters went missing in Frederick, Colorado.

As heartbreaking details emerged, their story made headlines worldwide and it became clear that Shanann's husband, Chris Watts, wasn't the man he appeared to be.

Told entirely through archival footage that includes social media posts, law enforcement recordings, text messages and never-before-seen home videos, director Jenny Popplewell pieces together an immersive and truthful examination of a police investigation and a disintegrating marriage.

American Murder: The Family Next Door is the first film to give a voice to the victims. Experience a gripping examination of the disintegration of a marriage.

House Hunters Renovation 17

Buyers look for a new home that is anything but turnkey.

Watch as they tour three potential homes and ultimately choose the one that's waiting for their special touch. Then stay as they renovate and decorate, ultimately revealing their new space.

In the Season 17 premiere, "A Reno with No End in Sight": With a quickly growing daughter, this Southern California couple needs more space.

He dreams of a total fixer-upper where he can tackle renovations himself, but she worries that his perfectionist approach could mean a major project would take forever to finish.
