Lost Gold of WWII 2

The quest for the one of the largest treasures in modern day history continues.

The Lost Gold of World War II returns to resume the search for hundreds of billions of dollars of stolen loot supposedly hidden in Southeast Asia by Japanese General Tomoyuki Yamashita.

In Season 2, the team dives deeper into the mystery.

Guided by recent scans suggesting gold, they focus on three key sites: a mysterious waterfall, a crater known as Breach 6 and a large tunnel recently found.

The series will dig deeper into the conspiracies surrounding Yamashita's Gold, its link to the CIA and various historic world leaders.

Will an all new team, extraordinary technology and unprecedented finds be enough to uncover the whereabouts of World War II's greatest treasure?

In the Season 2 premiere, "A Dying Declaration": American treasure hunter John Casey returns to the Philippines with a new team and new technology, in a continued effort to solve one of the greatest mysteries of World War II.

It's all hands on deck, when an advanced satellite scan of the mountain reveals massive metal deposits underground.

Based on these results, the team targets three sites believed to be the access points to Yamashita's gold: a waterfall, a crater known as 'Breach 6', and a camouflaged tunnel they uncovered last year.

RMB Starlight Classics 21

RMB Starlight Classics brings together a host of local and international music stars for a unique blend of classical, opera, pop and Afro-soul – all rolled into one AfroSymphonic celebration under the baton of Maestro Richard Cock.

Recorded under starlit skies at the Johannesburg Country Club in September 2019, the 21st edition features multi-award-winning performer Zahara; international guest tenor Gaston Rivero; lyric soprano Nombulelo Yende; piano virtuoso Charl du Plessis; international baritone Musa Ngqungwana; pop toe-tapper Lee Scott and The Voice South Africa's Siki Jo-An.

These solo stars combine with 2018 World Choir Games stars Quava Vocal Group and one of South Africa's leading choirs, The Chanticleer Singers, for a series of performances that reinvigorate the classics and tune up some contemporary pop numbers for the RMB Starlight Classics stage.

From the moment the show opens with a reimagining of Antonín Dvorák's New World Symphony to Siki Jo-An's rendition of Miriam Makeba's Qongqothwane and beyond to Nombulelo Yende's Never Enough from The Greatest Showman, the special aims to surprise with unique collaborations and interpretations, bringing possibilities to life on stage in unprecedented ways.

There are few – if any – places where Edvard Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor and Lady Gaga's Bad Romance could flow into each other – but virtuoso pianist Charl du Plessis makes it seem effortless and beautiful, in equal measure.

Keep an eye out for child prodigy crooner Joshua Bouwer as he threatens to steal the spotlight from the accomplished international stars on the Starlight stage.
