Supernatural 14

The harrowing journey of the Winchester brothers continues as Supernatural enters its fourteenth season.

Sam and Dean have matched wits with monsters, demons, Heaven and Hell.

But in the show's thirteenth season, the Winchesters were thrown into a terrifying alternative universe - an apocalyptic world where they were never born, all while training Jack, the son of Lucifer, and trying to save their mother.

The final battle with Lucifer and Archangel Michael could alter the lives of The Winchesters forever and creates a new threat for Sam and Dean.

In the Season 14 premiere, "Stranger in a Strange Land": Sam enlists everyone's help in trying to track down Dean, who can literally be anywhere.

Meanwhile, Castiel may be in over his head after meeting up with an unreliable source.

After being drained of his grace in Season 13, Jack is adjusting to life as a human, learning new skills and figuring out how he fits in to this world of hunters.

Christy (Faris) is a waitress at a posh Napa Valley establishment who is four months clean and doing her best to be a good mom and overcome a history of questionable choices.

Her sobriety is tested when Bonnie (Janney), her recovering alcoholic mom, reappears chock-full of passive-aggressive insights into Christy's many mistakes.

In the Season 6 premiere, "Pre-Washed Lettuce and a Mime": Christy has second thoughts about law school after a tough first day, and Bonnie is plagued by an upsetting dream.

8 Days: To the Moon and Back

The second of two programmes (after Jupiter Revealed last week) marking the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing.

8 days, 3 hours, 18 minutes, 35 seconds. That's the total duration of the Apollo 11 moon mission. But we only saw a fraction of what happened.

Using cutting-edge special effects and previously classified cockpit audio, this programme recreates the crucial scenes that were never filmed.

The first sight of the moon. The dramatic touchdown. The nail-biting journey home. Original archive footage is blended with newly shot film to create a new view of history.

This is the untold story of the most important space mission ever flown.
