This season features Banomoya crooner Busiswa as co-host of the show with returning host Ntando Duma.

For the new season, the show held auditions in 2018 for potential dancers from across KwaZulu-Natal communities in hopes of unearthing fresh undiscovered dancers.

From these auditions, 78 dancers were hand-picked to form 10 different groups: ADM, The Champions, Versalites, 031 Movement, Bay Rockers, Team Wassha, All-Stars, D Mob, Ghetto Latinos, and Rebels – who are all featured in the show.
