Season 2

After a successful first season last year, local rom-com series Mzansi Love: Kasi Style is back with a six-part second season, promising a feast of engaging authentic local romance stories.

Based on the Nollybooks novels, which are published by actress and media mogul Moky Makura's MME Media, the series was conceptualised around the highly successful franchise which delves into the intricacies of navigating through young love.

Producers Bridget Pickering and Bobo Mokgoro of Fireworx Media head up the team that brings these novels to life and onto our screens.

The series also boasts a team of young and talented directors who include Neo Ntlatleng, Mfundo Mkhize, Johan Baird and Zamo Mkhwanazi.

The second season brings six fresh new stories to the small screen. From lawyers in a battle for love, passion that transcends borders and racial groups as well as the interesting world of online dating – the second season delves deeper into all that is love in the city.

Mzansi Love offers a welcome relief from the current local content on screen which tends to delve deep into the social inadequacies we face and rather offers feel-good entertainment and reminds us of one universal concept – love.

The Season 2 cast once again features some of South Africa's talented actors such as Sipho "Psyfo" Ngwenya, Leroy Gopal, Sthembiso "SK" Khoza, Khanyi Mbau, Samkelo Ndlovu, Dineo Lusenga, Jacqui Carpede, Lesley Musina, Dineo Nchabeleng, Themba Nofemele, Nthabi Mphahlele, Miza Modibedi, Noluthando Meje, Sisanda Henna, Amanda Du-Pont, Nozipho Nkelemba, Buyile Mdladla, Lebo Mashile, Hlubi Mboya and more.
