Mzansi Magic telenovela Inimba is officially the most streamed show on DStv, reaching the No.1 position today, 3 July 2025.

It's the first time it's happened since its premiere on 14 April this year and it coincides with character Thumeka's heartbreak and worst nightmare.

As we mentioned in our first column on DStv Stream's Most Popular Shows, it's regularly been at No. 2 and was elbowed out by Survivor 47 and Shaka iLembe 2.

Flash forward two weeks exactly and Survivor's at No. 2, followed by Shaka iLembe at No. 3.

Inimba centres round Zoleka Mabandla (Lunathi Mampofu) who returns to her family after 20 years of being away. Her husband Hlathi forced her to choose between their family and her career, she chose the latter and now she's back as a tech mogal.

She's rekindled her relationship with Hlathi in an affair, much to her cousin Thumeka's despair.

Thumeka stepped into Zoleka's shoes when she left, taking care of Hlathi and Qhawe - Hlathi and Zoleka's daughter.

Thumeka's also had two children with Hlathi and now she's discovered that her love and life are being ripped away from her because Hlathi wants to return to his marriage with Zoleka.

Yesterday he informed Thumeka that he's taking their child Yanga to live with him and "his wife".

Tonight Thumeka reacts. You'll find more in the teasers here: Inimba Teasers - July 2025

Zenande Mfenyana plays Thumeka and Hlathi is portrayed by Isidingo Talent Search winner Sisa Hewana in his first starring role since he played the "Ace" up his sleeve.

Inimba's produced by The Milton Empire (In the Dock, Housewives, The Phoenix) and the head writer is Siphosethu Tshapu (Milton Empire founder).

Inimba really deserves the number 1 spot. I was done with these Mon-Frid dramas because normally they drag storylines. However with Inimba, the cast, writers , production and storylines are top-notch. Well done to Sipho and the Milton Empire crew
