Bodies

Four detectives. Four timelines. One body.

To save Britain's future, they'll need to solve the murder that altered the course of history first.

Based on the mind-bending graphic novel by Si Spencer, Bodies is a police procedural with a twist.

When a body – the same body – is found on Longharvest Lane in London's East End in 1890, 1941, 2023 and 2053, one detective from each period must investigate.

As connections are drawn across the decades, the detectives soon discover their investigations are linked, and an enigmatic political leader – Elias Mannix (Stephen Graham) – becomes increasingly central.

Did he have a part to play in the murder? Or is something far more sinister at play?

To solve the mystery, our four detectives must somehow collaborate and uncover a conspiracy spanning over 150 years.

Now Jared's every move is being monitored by financial investigators, determined to use the Noble family to bring Cal to justice.

A partner in Jared's business, Lexie is forced into working for Cal, at the same time as the police net inexorably tightens.

Umndende 2

This reality intervention show confronts social grant abusers.

Social grants are a lifeline for many South Africans, but what happens when a much-needed welfare grant isn't used for its intended purpose?

That's the question tackled by Umndende, which follows people who confront family members misusing social grants for their own selfish needs.

Hosted by Thabiso Mokhethi, the show's title refers to what is known as 'modende' – slang used in South African townships for the government-based social grants, including pension, disability grants and child grants.

Neon

Channel: Netflix South Africa
TX Time: 10h00 (all episodes)

From small-town Florida to the bustling beaches and bright lights of Miami, Neon follows three friends as they hustle their way to making it big in the world of reggaeton.

The eight-episode comedy captures not only the three besties' larger-than-life dreams, but also the harsh realities and funny mishaps of surviving the music industry.

Tyler Dean Flores plays Santi, a rising reggaeton artist who, with the help of his friends Ness, Felix and A&R rep Mia hopes to become the biggest star in reggaeton.

Or at least pay his rent.

Friday Night Dinner 2

Channel: BritBox
TX Time: 00h01
Genre: Comedy

Friday Night Dinner 2

For the Goodman family, Friday night dinner is just like Sunday lunch – just take two days away, add an extra course and you've pretty much got it.

Adam and his brother Jonny view Friday night dinner as a necessary annoyance. Necessary because they get fed, and annoying because they have to spend the evening with Mum and Dad.

It's not that Mum and Dad aren't wonderful, they really are. But Dad slugs ketchup straight from the bottle, Mum is obsessed with cooking shows, and Grandma likes to wear her new bikini around the house.

Of course every family has its foibles, but the Goodmans have made something of an art form of theirs.

Featuring an ensemble cast including Simon Bird (Inbetweeners) and Tamsin Greig (Episodes, Green Wing), Friday Night Dinner is an original series about growing up but not growing away.

In Season 2, Adam goes on a date with a girl who smells like Mum, Jonny starts going out with an older woman, Mum is forced out of the house by a mouse and Dad starts drying fish in the downstairs cupboard.

Also, Jim makes a birthday cake for his dog Wilson, Grandma has an affair with a married man and we meet Dad's mother: 'Horrible Grandma'.

In the Season 2 premiere, "Buggy": When Jonny finds out that Adam threw his beloved 'Pandy' toy in the bin when he was 11, Jonny swears revenge, threatening to destroy 'Buggy', Adam's old rabbit.
