Iceland with Alexander Armstrong

Actor and presenter Alexander Armstrong ventures to Iceland - the land of glaciers and geysers and summers where the sun never sets.

He's on a quest to discover all Iceland has to offer and witnesses erupting geysers, visits breathtaking glaciers and meets a man who bakes bread in boiling water.

Alexander also walks through the buzzing streets of Reykjavik, plays a round of midnight golf and rides an Icelandic horse.

Elsewhere, in the land where rotten shark is a delicacy, Alexander samples possibly the world's most disgusting dish - so you don't have to.

In the series premiere: Alexander begins his Icelandic adventure in a helicopter, hovering just yards above the rim of an erupting and lethal volcano close to the capital of Reykjavik, before heading east to Iceland's Golden Circle.

Jo Koy: Lights Out

Channel: Comedy Central (DStv 122)
TX Time: 21h00
Genre: Comedy, Special

Jo Koy: Lights Out

Jo Koy imitates three generations of his family, reveals why sleep is a near-death experience and explains why all parents should have pulled out.

Jo Koy's star continues to rise in his second feature-length, uncensored stand-up special, filmed at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, California.

Jo hits on such topics as the joys and struggles of fatherhood, growing up with strong, opinionated Filipino women, sleep apnea and role playing.

If you don't already know Jo from his stand-up or regular roundtable appearances on Chelsea Lately, it's time that you do.

Ting ting!

Chef Boot Camp 2

Channel: Food Network (DStv 175)
TX Time: 19h55
Genre: Reality Makeover, Reality, Food

Chef Boot Camp 2

Chef Cliff Crooks is a charismatic and talented culinary director for a global restaurant group who is passionate about sharing all he has learned with struggling professional cooks in Chef Boot Camp.

In the series, Cliff is tough, yet supportive and funny, as he leads boot camp each week for a new trio of self-nominated chefs from around the country who acknowledge they need to make big changes if they are to succeed in the food industry.

Over three days, Cliff leads intense culinary drills that tests how these chefs cook under pressure, manage their time, and communicate.

After a fundamentals round to assess their strengths and weaknesses, the stakes are high as Cliff welcomes the cooks to his own kitchen at BLT Prime where they must execute a live fast-paced dinner service and cook alongside the restaurant's staff.

Finally, the pros showcase their culinary creativity for a family meal to be shared by Cliff and their fellow chefs and decide if they will rededicate themselves to their career in food.

In the Season 2 premiere, "Move Like You're on Fire": Chef Cliff reaches out to help Kwame, whose first restaurant failed.

As the owner and head chef of Chicken Fire, he knows everything about chicken and how to cook and fry it, but he knows little else that will help his second business survive.

Inayah dreams of owning a brick-and-mortar location, but she's stuck in her catering business, not knowing how to move forward.

From the outside, Vira seems to have it all as the owner of four restaurants, but her goal of branching out to multiple cities is on hold.

She may have the culinary chops, but Cliff needs her to realise that a leader must communicate and listen to their team.
