Housekeepers 3

When you are a housekeeper to the wealthy, the clean-up never truly ends... and taking care of these particular households involves mopping up a whole lot of felonies.

In this series, things aren't quite what they seem as unlikely characters get pulled into a never-ending life of crime.

Starring Thando Thabethe, who reprises her role as Linda, and Paballo Koza as her brother Mtho, the series follows an agent solving criminal cases – while undercover as the house help.

And while Linda has massive crime to uncover in Season 3, her biggest fight is her desperate attempt to save Mtho's life.

In varsity and adjusting to his and his sister's new financially secure reality, Mtho is accused of a shocking crime.

Can Linda prove his innocence while keeping her true identity hidden from her dangerous new employers?

This season we watch Linda in the middle of a balancing act – it's the detective versus the sister.

Having made a promise to their mother to keep Mtho safe, Linda is wracked with guilt and, since she couldn't save June, she wants to save her brother by any means necessary.

This leads her down increasingly morally ambiguous paths. After all, what would you do to save your loved ones given the chance?

In the Season 3 premiere: Linda survives death and wants nothing more than to put the past behind her.

She's ready to build a new life for her and Mtho with Veronica Zwide's inheritance.

The Season 3 cast includes Gabriel Mini, Ernest Ndlovu, Andile Mxakaza, Noxolo Dlamini, Fezile Makhanya and Zandi Nhlapo; with Kenneth Nkosi, Connie Chiume and Chichi Letswalo.

G.I.L, short for Grobbies Internasionale Lughawe (Grobbies International Airport), is a mockumentary comedy series which revolves around the new boss and incompetent staff of a small airport in the middle of nowhere.

Meet Barry Wiese (Bennie Fourie), an eager beaver who is thrilled when he gets a job managing an "international airport".

His enthusiasm takes a dive when he realises it is less international and more municipal and on the arse-end of South Africa.

He is saddled with a staff whose horizons don't extend far beyond their own shadows, but he is determined to make it work.

It has always been Barry's dream to be a successful businessman - like Richard Branson.

Although ambitious, he doesn't need to be the CEO of a large corporation - general manager of a small airport slap bang in the middle of nowhere is more than enough for him.

On his first day, he meets his new team, including Rietjie du Toit (Ashley de Lange), information officer and all-round fixer who is leaving in a few months to teach English in the East.

Rietjie can think on her feet and quickly solves any problem.

When she was in matric she was in a relationship with Clive Grobler (Hendrik Cronje), the manager at the airport's lodge.

His father is also the owner of the airport and not a day goes by in which he doesn't remind people of this fact.

Prof (Gershwin Mias) and Tips (Ruan Wessels) are the baggage handlers of G.I.L. They work together, but aren't that mad about working when they are together.

They entertain each other and often get into trouble. Even though the rest of the 'adults' who work at the airport are very serious about life, Prof and Tips choose to be the naughty ones for just a while longer before they grow up.

Princess Mohandi (Vele Manenje) is the boss of security. She takes her job very seriously and does not allow any man to tell her what to do.

Letricia Duvenhage (Michelle Burgers) and Kreef Kreef (Frank Opperman) have been working at the airport since Day One.

Letricia works on the soundboard and Kreef is in charge of the takeoff, flight patterns and landings of the planes at G.I.L.

The series stars Bennie Fourie as Barry, Ashley de Lange as Rietjie, Frank Opperman as Kreef, Michele Burgers as Letricia, Vele Manenje as Princess, Hendrik Cronje as Clive, Gershwin Mias as Prof and Ruan Wessels as Tips.

Makoti... Are You the One?

Channel: Mzansi Magic (DStv 161)
TX Time: 19h30
Genre: Reality

Makoti... Are You the One?

What happens when four potential wives choose to move into their potential mother-in-law's home, with the hopes of earning their blessing to marry her son?

That's the premise of Makoti... Are You the One?

The series takes the cultural practice referred to as 'ukukotiza' in isiZulu – a period where a woman moves in with her in-laws after lobola is paid – and brings it earlier into the courtship, allowing couples to possibly stop themselves from making what could be a huge mistake.

The show follows couples from vastly different backgrounds who are hoping to take their relationship to the ultimate step, marriage.

But will their ideological, religious, socioeconomic and cultural differences get in the way of their happiness?

There's only one way to find out – by the potential wife moving in with her potential in-laws for 21 days, so that she can master and execute tasks that test if she is indeed someone who can fit into her new family.

By the end of the season, the couples will either make it out out stronger, or crumble.

What happens if the mothers-in-law doesn't approve of their potential makotis – will the son go ahead and marry the woman they love without Mommy's consent?

What if the makoti herself decides this isn't the family she wants to marry into?

Can love conquer all?

An investigation gets started to see with what and how Dankie, Lottoland can help - and then the team gets to work.

In the Season 4 premiere: Legendary newsreader Riaan Cruywagen travels to Pioneer School for the Blind in Worcester.

Here he meets inspiring learners, and he makes the school's dreams come true with Lottoland surprises.

Kyk wie Praat

A group of mouthy kids between the ages of six and nine are asked questions. Four adult contestants have to guess what the answers of the little critters were.

Sounds easy, right? But children are completely unpredictable, in this game show hosted by De Klerk Oelofse.

The four contestants are eliminated, round by round, until only one remains, as nine children keep the contestants on their toes.

A contestant who earns enough points stands the chance of winning a weekend getaway for the whole family.

There is also the opportunity to win R10,000 per episode. If the money is not won, it is added to a jackpot prize up for grabs in the final episode.

The four contestants who earned the most points in the previous 12 episodes will compete in this season finale.

Four celebs will take part in the first episode: Emo Adams, Margit Meyer-Rödenbeck, Pierre Greeff and Tracey Lange.

The prize money in this episode will go to a charity of the winner's choice.
