The show explores two long-time friends seeking to climb out of their heads and connect with others.
Rising comedians Dan and Kevin play fictionalised versions of themselves: neighbourhood best friends and urban millennials hilariously climbing the ladder to nowhere.
But even inside the losing, Dan and Kevin find there are little wins that come from tackling hipsters, mental health issues and the rising tide of gentrification.
As with the original shorts, many of the roles were cast with actors from Brooklyn or the Flatbush neighbourhood, including Kristin Dodson (The Shivering Truth) in the role of Zayna, one of Dan's outspoken high school students.
