Op en Af

In this repackaged Netwerk24 soapie, we follow the highs and lows of three couples who all live in the same block of flats.

They all consult the same online counsellor and although they appear happy on the surface, it's the small things that reveal how much frustration lies beneath their happy facade.

Charlton George and Quanita Adams play the roles of André and Bev Mouton, who have been married the longest.

They seem happy, but in reality Bev has a secret life that Andre knows nothing about.

Neels van Jaarsveld and Nadia Valvekens play Frans and Leandé du Plessis. Leandé is an avid online vlogger, while Frans trades very successfully in equities.

But did Leandé only marry Frans for his money?

The last couple are Charlie and Ilse Daniels, played by Marlo Minnaar and Nicole Fortuin. They were recently married and still very much in love.

They want to get pregnant, but that seems easier said than done.

Spyskaart 2 (returns from hiatus)

Channel: SABC2
TX Time: 19h00

Spyskaart 2

The second season of Spyskaart returns to SABC2 with the second half of the season.

This is a magazine-style show which takes a tasty trip around South Africa to find out how food is produced, sharing recipes and cultivating a love for seasonal and ethical ingredients.

The programme format is similar to a three- or four-course meal: each insert is made up of one course, which is prepared and served at different locations including restaurants, lodges, hotels, private homes, farms or in natural surroundings.

The goal is that you be left with a full understanding of the main ingredient of each course at the end of the show.

In the mid-season premiere (Episode 14): the inspiration for this episode is Deon Opperman's poem "Sproeireën".

Yolani makes the starter - a duck and nartjie salad - with food writer Errieda du Toit and her daughter.

Chad and Jessica turn a nostalgic dish on its head and serve a lamb and pumpkin cookie pie for the main dish.

Finally, rapper Jack Parow joins Yolani and bakes a mosbolletjie bread pudding for dessert.
