Good Spirits

Channel: SABC3
TX Time: 20h30
Genre: Travel, Food

Good Spirits

Good Spirits combines the love of cruise ship travel with the talents of transcendent cocktail chef Matthew Biancaniello to showcase one-of-a-kind drink creations.

Biancaniello sets sail for some of the world's most exotic destinations, in search of extraordinary everyday people and farm-fresh, native ingredients to share stories of spirits and the passion he has for his craft.

Trekking through some of the most amazing places on Earth, Matthew immerses himself in local culture and flavour to incorporate into his artistic spirited creations.

Each episode features some of the most beautiful destinations in the world where we come along with Matthew on his quest.

Each adventure starts with picking up local wisdom; then scours the local farmers markets and forage for ingredients on local lands and sea.

Everything culminates when Matthew armed with new knowledge and the best of local flavours builds an ultimate cocktail that is intimately true to each land.

Watch Biancaniello as he never works off a set cocktail menu but instead practices the art of Omakase, meaning the customer and bartender create a special experience together.

In the series premiere, "A Princess Cruise to Tahiti": Matthew cruises to the island paradise of Tahiti and discovers local ingredients, like flavourful vanilla beans.

He also puts his own spin on the classic Tahitian Mai Tai that encapsulates many flavours of the island.

Fam

Stars Nina Dobrev and Tone Bell in a comedy about a woman whose vision of a perfect life with her adoring fiancé and his wonderful parents is radically altered when her 16-year-old, out-of-control half-sister unexpectedly comes to live with her.

Clem's upbringing and teen years left a lot to be desired, but she pulled herself up and built a fantastic life — great job, terrific apartment and an amazing fiancé, Nick, a college professor from a well-to-do "normal" family.

Nick's warm and supportive parents, Rose and Walt, embrace Clem and complete the family she always wanted.

But when Clem's wild-child half-sister, Shannon, appears on their doorstep to escape their train wreck of a dad, Nick agrees that Clem can help her avoid all the mistakes she made, and they invite her to move in.

As the family Clem chose and the family she has blend, Clem realises that this happy fam may be the perfection she's been seeking.

UFOs: The Lost Evidence

The evidence that UFOs have tracked – and possibly influenced – modern man extends back thousands of years from the very first unexplained statues and symbols found deep in South America, to new imagery on the surface of Mars.

The similarities in this body of evidence are compelling.

Now, chilling accounts of current and former government officials, pilots, astronauts and astrophysicists reveal new evidence of UFO contact ranging from deep space to our deep seas.

This series delves deep to examine an unsettling possibility... that man's contact with UFOs is deeper and more far reaching than ever imagined.

Why are they here? And is there a master plan?

This new season is full of action, humongous fish, compelling characters and danger, such as when Cyril almost gets trampled on by a herd of elephants in the jungle of Gabon.
