Season 6
Getroud met Rugby: Die Sepie (Married to Rugby: The Soapie) is a South African soap opera based on the feature film and later drama series Gegroud met Rugby by Deon Opperman, which is set amongst a rugby-playing community.
Popular characters from the drama series return along with a whole new team of characters, including an entire family consisting of father, mother and four children aged 16 to 24; as well as three new married couples.
In the Season 6 premiere: Things are uncomfortable between Ryno and Thinus, Schalk is worried about the players and Yvonne and Candice each plan a baby shower for Lulu.
In the second episode of the new season, Amanda receives a strange visit and Thinus gets his job back at the Stryders.
The series is based on an original concept by Deon Opperman and Hanli Rolfes and produced by Atomic Repairs and Overberg Produksies.
The producers are Soné Combrinck, Fezile Mpela and Deon Opperman and the executive producer is Soné Combrinck.
