Dewald Visser is the director and presenter of Mal Kamper, an outdoor lifestyle and adventure series which travels overland and sets up a wild camp at a variety of locations, showcasing South Africa in its true splendour.
In Mal Kamper there is no such thing as a normal campsite.
Dewald takes his equipped 4x4 and trailer and goes to the most inhospitable areas, throws something on the coals and gets the adrenaline flowing with a series of activities.
Dewald is an avid mountain biker and enjoys rowing, mountain climbing and diving, among other things.
Every now and then he even dares to go fishing.
Dewald also looks at so-called glamping and facilities such as caravans, luxury tents, houseboats, mountain huts and other beautiful places.
In the Season 4 premiere: Dewald takes a snowy drive through Ceres, sails in Norway and surfs dunes in Namibia.

Billy Bob Thornton stars as Lorne Malvo, a rootless, manipulative man who meets and forever changes the life of small town insurance salesman Lester Nygaard, played by Martin Freeman.
