Housewives 2

The lives of three housewives are changed forever when their husbands are killed by a drug cartel boss.

Akhona, Summer and Lawrencia are left with the heavy debt left by their spouses' criminal activities and are forced to work for the cartel leader to pay off the debt.

But they end up deciding to outsmart the cartel boss and open a syndicate of their own...

The second season kicks off with Akhona on the run.

She finds refuge in a rundown hotel in Yeoville while she waits for her aide, Raphael.

She has a run-in with the cops and is forced to take on a false identity so that she can remain in hiding.

Just when she is about to be bust, Raphael comes to her rescue and takes her to his place.

There is a spark between these two and it is revealed that years ago Akhona dumped Raphael for Eric, who had more money than he does.

Season 2 stars Renate Stuurman as Dragon, Sive Mabuya as Akhona and Angela Lieveaux as Summer.

Lawrencia (or Lolo as her friends know her) is played by Gabisile Tshabalala.

Genre: Reality Makeover, Home Improvement, Reality

Fix My Flip

Licensed real estate agent Page Turner, who first caught the attention of property aficionados as co-star of Flip or Flop Nashville, returns home to California to help overwhelmed house flippers in Fix My Flip.

The six-episode series will follow Page - who has sold millions in real estate, owned a brokerage that employed up to 40 agents and executed 110 successful flips - as she meets with struggling flippers to tour mid-flip properties that are in dire, seemingly hopeless financial situations.

Page taps into her deep expertise and invests her own money to help the floundering flippers fix everything from blown budgets and mismanaged schedules to uninspired upgrades and lacklustre design.

Empowered by her impressive track record, Page steps in to fix flips so that everyone can make big profit.

In the season opener, Page will come to the rescue of a mother/daughter flipping team in Lake Arrowhead, California, who are hoping for success after making no profit on their first flip.

With only about six weeks to finish the project before winter keeps buyers away, the duo needs help fast.

After a tour, Page knows the flip is headed for trouble.

To max out the small home's layout, Page suggests undoing several completed improvements, such as removing a newly built wall in the kitchen and relocating the home's new heating system.

Once her vision for the cottage comes to life, the home will have the character and flow that are sure to attract buyers.

Crime Scene Confidential

Channel: Investigation Discovery (DStv 171 / StarSat 223)
TX Time: 21h00
Genre: True Crime, Documentary Series

Crime Scene Confidential

In her 12 years as a crime scene investigator for Orange County, Florida, CSI Alina Burroughs investigated some of the most startling and devastating cases in the country - from the tragic 2008 death of toddler Caylee Anthony to the 2016 Pulse nightclub massacre.

Through her work she has learned that people may not always tell the truth, but the forensic evidence never lies.

In this series, Burroughs revisits controversial and shocking murder cases from across the country, taking a fresh look at the forensic evidence with the hope to bring more clarity to these complex crimes and closure to those the victims left behind.

Throughout the six-episode series, Burroughs investigates the evidence in some truly baffling murder cases ranging from a deadly fall from a balcony that turns out to be even more twisted than initially thought, to the case of the unexpected death of a young college student that was believed to be closed.

From the unknown to the sensational, Burroughs uses her years of training to see the clues and uncover the mysteries that only an expert CSI could catch, while also having emotional, and sometimes tense, conversations with both the victim's loved ones, and, at times, even the suspected or convicted perpetrator to understand more about the case.

With every case, Burroughs brings not only her forensic expertise, but a compassionate and empathetic understanding of the lingering trauma these cases can have on the family members and loved ones - even after a verdict has been delivered.

In each episode of Crime Scene Confidential Burroughs hopes to resolve any lingering misconceptions or mysteries around these agonising crimes.

In the series premiere, "My Search for Caylee Anthony": Explores the evidence in the death of Caylee Anthony and the subsequent trial of her mother, Casey Anthony.

Talking to the detectives who investigated the case and interrogated Casey Anthony as a suspect as well as chief medical examiner Dr. Jan Garavaglia who pronounced the cause of death and testified in the trial, Burroughs reveals why those investigating and prosecuting the case felt they had the evidence to go to trial.

Burroughs also reflects on her own time working the scene where Caylee's remains were found and her testimony on the stand.

The episode culminates with an emotional interview with Cindy Anthony, Caylee's grandmother, who first reported the toddler missing.

While Casey Anthony was found not guilty, the case continues to haunt those who investigated the crime.
