Elder Skelter

Too old to enjoy their riches, too old to keep dry britches, but not too old to snuff out some witches.

Prepare to hide under your lap blanket, because Investigation Discovery's series Elder Skelter tells shocking stories of senior citizens who committed cold, calculated crimes.

Did they suffer from dementia, or had they spent a lifetime suppressing their sick fantasies before it all came to a head?

After building reputations as model citizens, loving family members and contributors to society, these oldies but no-longer-goodies cracked in their final years only to spend the rest of their retirement in prison.

Celebrated fashionistas host the series, guiding you through each story, often imparting their own age-old wisdom and advice.

In the series premiere, "Bitter Bitties": 66 year-old David Myers finally has it all. But, when things get out of control his house of cards comes crumbling down.

And, all Steven Watkins ever wanted was to be a family man. New love Jennifer has a perfect family... but do they have room for him?

Restaurant Impossible 14

Channel: Food Network (DStv 175)
TX Time: 19h00
Genre: Reality Makeover, Food, Reality

Restaurant Impossible 14

Turning around a failing restaurant is a daunting challenge under the best of circumstances. Attempting to do it in just two days with only $10,000 may be impossible.

But Chef Robert Irvine is ready to take on the challenge. He'll use a little MacGyver and a lot of muscle to rescue these desperate places from complete collapse.

Can one man, in two days, with just $10,000, turn the tide of a failing restaurant, and pave the road to a successful future?

Find out as Robert Irvine takes on Restaurant: Impossible.

During the season Robert will travel to Escondido, California, where a retro joint called Rosie's Café is struggling mightily.

Rosie's is disorganised and has lost money every year since it's been opened; with two days and $10,000 Robert will have to make major changes, or the passionate owner will have to close the doors for good.

Other episodes include the Incredible Café in San Diego, California, where Robert finds a restaurant that is anything but incredible; and the Copper Steer Steakhouse in Safford, Arizona, where a Deputy U.S. Marshall and a judicial assistant followed their dreams to open a restaurant that is now turning into a nightmare as the restaurant is wreaking havoc on the family with no idea on how to turn it around.

And finally, in Costa Mesa, California, Robert visits Filomena's Italian Kitchen and Market, where despite having a clean kitchen and an organised dining room, the owner hasn't been able to pay herself one dime the entire time the restaurant has been open.

Robert figuring out the problem turns out to be only half the battle.

During the course of the season Robert is joined by familiar faces, including Tom Bury and Taniya Nayak, along with Luke Caldwell, to help right the ship for these struggling restaurants and their owners.
