A new comedy sketch show where no area of the universe is off-limits.

Famalam shines a comedic light on everything - from alien encounters in the outer reaches of the galaxy to what happens when a man is left on his own in a house for 10 minutes holding only a phone and a remote.

With a dazzling array of accents, cultural observations and colourful costumes, Famalam gives us a glimpse of the latest Nollywood blockbuster, reveals who might be responsible for internet spam and introduces us to the real rulers of the world - spoiler alert - it's not the G20...

In the debut season we'll meet a huge range of comic creations including thwarted Nigerian philanthropist Prince Alyusi, Croydon's leading voodoo doctor Professor Lofuko, misunderstood superhero Eclipse, never-satiated chicken-loving schoolboy Fat Sam and over-amorous daytime TV hosts/lovers, William and Funke.

Along the way we'll also learn some newly-unearthed Black British History with garage MC Scribbler P, get a sneak peek of the latest Nollywood blockbusters, and at last see some much-needed cultural diversity injected into Midsomer Murders.

In the series premiere, "The Sinner": When a young husband is shot dead in his Alabama home, police think it's a botched robbery.

But a dark secret was hiding between the pews of the local Baptist church.

The offender then proceeds to write a letter to the victim or victim's family expressing their desire to meet with them.

Once both parties agree to meet face-to-face, mediation occurs under the guidance of trained Correctional Services facilitators and social workers.
