Spoorloos

Drama series based on the novel Daddy Long Legs by Vernon W. Baumann and set in the fictional town of Digtersdal in the Eastern Cape, a ghost town which never recovered from a spate of serial killings 13 years previously.

In search of healing and revival after 13 years of unresolved mysteries, the serial killer suddenly returns, meaning a detective and a journalist must open all the old wounds.

The town of Digtersdal in the Eastern Cape was terrorised by a serial killer 13 years ago, targeting boys from five to 15 years old.

The murders suddenly stopped, but the murderer was never caught. The town was broken.

Werner Malan's plans for the development of Digtersdal into a holiday paradise collapsed and he lost a fortune.

The construction of a tourist town that would compete with neighbouring Sonstad were stopped and the entrance gate that was erected became faded and worn, like a giant tombstone in remembrance of the tragedy that descended upon the town.

Now, 13 years later, the town is determined to exorcise the ghosts of the past, led by Werner Malan. He established the Torch Festival, during which visitors are encouraged to invest in his new era development.

Deon Coetzee stars as Werner Malan: businessman, politician and farmer. He is married to Angelique (Catriona Andrew), who comes from a rich English family.

Their son Werner Jnr., who everyone calls Junior (Francois Jacobs), is married to Lara (Amalia Uys), a bruised angel looking for a way out of her stifling marriage. Lara has a 12-year-old son, Jan-Gustav (Niel Slabbert).

Ian Vos (Ludwig Binge) works at an advertising agency in the city. He was 17 years old when his brother, Benjamin, was killed by the serial killer. His mother, Frieda (Wilmien Rossouw), still lives in Digtersdal.

Adam Arendse (Zane Meas) is a political leader and activist and is Keagan's (Charl Fleurs) father - a clever boy, although he is a coward.

De Wet (Eric Bouwer) is a detective from Johannesburg and Sonja Landman (Kim Syster) is a television journalist who has big dreams of becoming an investigative journalist.

Gert Neethling (Lieb Bester) is the town drunkard and his wife, Magda (Elsabé Daneel), displays the true meaning of unconditional love.

S'bu Mahlaba (Kagiso Rathebe) is De Wet's colleague, Lusanda Miya (Sibulele Gcilitshana) is the police captain and Deon Prinsloo (Ashley Taylor) is a cynical detective at the local police station.

Other characters include Ds. Els (Morné Visser), the drug dealer Piet "Pille" Taljaart (André Odendaal) and his daughter Esti (Ineke van der Merwe), acting principal Mr. Immelman (Hannes van Wyk), local newspaper editor Marie Fick (Lizz Meiring) and Fezile Grootboom (SK Sambokwe), Werner's foreman.

Marlon 2

Loosely inspired by the real life of star Marlon Wayans, this update to the classic family comedy centres on a loving (but sometimes inappropriate) father committed to co-parenting his two kids with his very-together ex-wife.

While his misguided fatherly advice, unstoppable larger-than-life personality and unpredictable Internet superstardom might get in the way sometimes, for Marlon family really always does come first - even if he's the biggest kid of all.

In the Season 2 premiere, "Model Parent": Marlon convinces Ashley to let Zack model for a kids' athletic line after he is approached in a mall.

After the shoot, Stevie, Yvette, Marlon and Ashley are horrified to see that the photos have been altered as the shirt he is modeling now contains the phrase "Funky Monkey."

Ashley and Marlon decide to pull Zack from the campaign after the advertising executives fail to see the racism of the shirt.
