South African contestants are put to the test with a series of tasks as they battle it out in the hopes of becoming the new resident foodie on SABC3's Afternoon Express.
The new resident foodie will be able to use the platform to showcase their gastronomic talents while making a name for themselves in the culinary space.
The finalists will go head to head in a series of challenges which will test both their social and culinary skills as each week contestants are given the chop until the ultimate taste master remains.
The finalists will experience a true Christmas market in Belgium which will be their inspiration for the final challenge.
The host of the series is Top Billing presenter and model Harmony Katulondi. The resident judges are Zola Nene and Gregory Czarnecki.

At the end of the night, 22 bachelors remain to toast the Bachelorette, with hearts overflowing and romantic adventures yet to come.
This season, romantic excursions will take Hannah and the men to remarkable locales around the globe, including Scotland, the Netherlands, Latvia and Greece.
This season features special appearances by celebrity couple Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen, Boston Celtics' Jaylen Brown and Terry Rozier, renowned runway coach Miss J. Alexander, and world famous drag queens Alyssa Edwards and Alaska.
There are also special performances by pop music star Lukas Graham and hit country music artist Jake Owen.
