It is a chance for Steve and his team of explorers to see what impact global warming could be having on this pristine wilderness.

They face many threats, from perilous sea ice that could crush their boats to a terrifying encounter with a hungry polar bear.

When the agents bring in her boyfriend, she erupts in anger. Agents uncover three kilos of cocaine disguised as bleaching powder.

A woman hides cocaine in her undergarments, but she may be carrying more elsewhere.

Each episode culminates with an intervention in which the addicts are confronted by family, friends and a professional interventionist and given a choice to get treatment and help or face exile and isolation from those who love them most.

In the Season 16 premiere: Despite overcoming early struggles, Brett and Morgan both battle addiction at the age of 20.

Plus, Morgan has a one-year-old daughter and is struggling to escape his addiction to heroin.
