The World's Most Expensive Cruise Ship

This five-part series follows Seven Seas Splendor, the world’s most expensive cruise ship.

The ship takes us on its inaugural Northern Europe season as it journeys from Iceland to Norway, through the Norwegian Fjords to Finland, Estonia, Copenhagen and then on to the Mediterranean.

Along the way, crew must contend with unexpected sea days, and try to pull off a vow renewal at sea.

In the series premiere: On the Seven Seas Explorer the kitchen staff work to source enough fish to feed the guests.

Meanwhile, will John's nerves get the better of him before his big performance?

The Space Race

Channel: National Geographic Channel (DStv 181 / StarSat 220)
TX Time: 19h00
Genre: Documentary, Science

The Space Race

The Space Race weaves together the stories of Black astronauts seeking to break the bonds of social injustice to reach for the stars.

The series profiles the pioneering Black pilots, scientists and engineers who joined NASA to serve their country in space, even as their country failed to achieve equality for them back on Earth.

From 1963, when the assassination of JFK thwarted Captain Ed Dwight's quest to reach the moon; to 2020, when the echoes of the civil unrest sparked by the killing of George Floyd reached the International Space Station, the story of African Americans at NASA is a tale of world events colliding with the aspirations of uncommon men.

The bright dreams of Afrofuturism become reality in The Space Race, turning science fiction into science fact and forever redefining what "the right stuff" looks like.

The film gives new heroes to celebrate and a fresh history to explore.

Meet the Chimps

Meet the Chimps takes you into the secret life of one of the largest and most unique wildlife sanctuaries in the world, Chimp Haven: a 200-acre refuge tucked deep in the forested heart of Louisiana, which is home to more than 300 chimpanzees.

Narrated by Jane Lynch, this six-part series tracks the ups and downs of this extraordinary group of chimps that are given a second chance at life by a staff whose dedication, compassion and commitment knows no bounds.

Through a blend of natural history and observational-documentary filmmaking, Meet the Chimps puts the chimps – the heart and soul of the series – at front and centre.

A real-life drama with a full emotional range, the series gives unparalleled access to everything happening at Chimp Haven, including food squabbles, alliances, romances, bromances, tears, tantrums, high jinxes and heartbreaks.

Power Book II: Ghost 3

Season 3 takes off in dramatic form with brand new twists, turns and murder as Tariq, Brayden and the Tejada family are grieving the death of Zeke.

However, they won't get much time as a new set of problems and questions arise.

This season is flashier, juicer and sexier, with even more family drama, betrayals and surprising new alliances.

Monet finds herself at a crossroads with her family, Brayden is forced to choose between his birth family and chosen family, and Tariq is leveling up this season.

The season kicks off with Tariq determined to get his trust, get back to his family, and get out of the game for good.

The emergence of a ruthless new connect interrupts Tariq's plans to reunite with Tasha and Yaz and puts him, Brayden and Effie back into business with the Tejadas as they're challenged to move more weight than ever before.

When Brayden brings Tariq in as an intern at his family's hedge fund Weston Holdings, the drug business expands beyond Stansfield and the streets onto Wall Street, while Tariq is also shown an alternate, legitimate path to success.

Monet, set ablaze by the death of her son Zeke, is willing to pay a hefty price to avenge her firstborn and keep the rest of her children - and the business - in line as she works closely with Davis MacLean to solve Zeke's murder and keep the feds off her trail.

Business is booming when a staggering reveal forces Tariq to reckon with a betrayal from those closest to him... and a R.I.C.O. investigation mounting into the entire drug enterprise, pulling Tariq deeper into the business and even closer to the legacy of his father.

In the Season 3 premiere, "Your Perception, Your Reality": A new semester at Stansfield means a fresh start for Tariq.

Meanwhile, Brayden is learning the ropes at Weston Holdings, under his uncle Lucas.

Also, Monet grieves the loss of Zeke, while Cane searches for a new connect.
