World's Greatest Treasure Mysteries 3

From the producers of The Curse of Oak Island and The UnXplained comes a documentary series delving into the mysteries of Oak Island and beyond.

Hosted by real-life treasure hunters Rick and Marty Lagina, this eight-episode series chronicles the greatest treasure hunts of the past, present and (perhaps) future.

World's Greatest Treasure Mysteries offers a combination of storytelling, interviews with treasure-hunters, historians and experts, as well as on-location treasure hunts in progress, sometimes with the Laginas themselves.

From pirates such as Blackbeard and outlaws like Jesse James, to Aztec gold, priceless historical artifacts from American history and sunken treasure ships, this series digs deep into the many treasure quests across the globe.

It reveals amazing new details and clues from past searches - and in some cases, advances the hunt.

In the Season 3 premiere, "The Atocha's Emerald City": The Lagina Brothers and Matty Blake join the famous treasure-hunting family of the late Mel Fisher in Key West, Florida, to search for millions in emeralds from the legendary Atocha shipwreck.

Kom ons Braai 16

South Africa's favourite pasttime is a social experiment in this foodie reality series.

Three couples who don't know each other, braai together - and a lot happens around the fire.

Not just the delicious food either...

Dangerous Waters 2

Channel: Curiosity Channel (DStv 185)
TX Time: 21h00
Genre: Documentary Series

Dangerous Waters 2

Follow the Dangerous Waters crew members as they embark upon an epic adventure riding their JetSki personal watercraft around the world.

In the Season 2 premiere, "Back to the Bering": The men return to the Bering Strait nine months after their first failed attempt to cross into Russian waters.

Excitement builds but the weather will not cooperate so the men take refuge in the small native settlement of Wales and wait for their window.

In the second episode of the weekly double bill, "Detainment": After a successful crossing of the Bering Strait, the men have been taken into custody at gunpoint by the Russian military.

The expedition is in jeopardy as the military will not let the men go and detain them for several days.
