The Rev

There's never a dull moment in the world of larger-than-life Pastor Richard Hartley.

When he isn't preaching and inspiring his congregation at his Long Island, New York church, he's dealing with his rambunctious and loving family... all while utilising his musical skills to make the church's choir top notch.

Having spent years travelling the globe working with incredible choirs and A-list musicians, Richard is now focused on his hometown choir.

And with the help of his wife Stacey, he is trying to get his millennial children, Judea and Jordan, out of the house so that they can build their own dreams.

In the series premiere, "Meet the Hartleys": Richard returns to find a choir that's out of tune and adult children that may never move out.

Hot Mess House

Channel: HGTV (DStv 177)

Hot Mess House

Families who are lost in a sea of overwhelming disorganisation, clutter and messiness - and have no idea how to fix it - will get the virtual help they need in Hot Mess House.

The series spotlights organisation expert and coach Cassandra Aarssen doing what she does best - helping families tackle the chaos and challenges of home organisation.

In each episode, Cassandra takes a video tour of the client's home where she finds overflowing playrooms, stuffed kitchens and inundated basements.

After the home tours, she helps them identify an organisation style that works best for their unique situation and gives them the necessary resources and tools for a stress-free, decluttered life.

Throughout the season, Cassandra mentors families with all types of disorganised dilemmas, including a young couple living in a cramped 350-square-foot apartment and a family with closets bursting at the seams.

In one emotional episode, Cassandra's organisation tips help one woman find the engagement ring that she thought was lost.

While Cassandra helps each client tackle the physical process of organisation, she also will advise how they can manage the underlying emotional attachments that often lead to over-cluttering in the first place.

In the series premiere, "Sneak Peek: Hide the Clutter": Brandi and Tim have so much stuff, they don't know how to create order.

Cas helps each find their organising style and create space for new memories.

In the second episode of the weekly double bill, "Small Space, Big Mess": A bedroom in Rachel and Ben's apartment doubles as a closet and home office with barely any space to move.

Kendra and Brandon are raising young kids while working from home, so Cas guides each family through creating spaces that work for their lifestyle.

Alaskan Bush People 13

Channel: Discovery Channel (DStv 121)
TX Time: 20h00
Genre: Docu-Reality

Alaskan Bush People 13

Following a devastating wildfire that swept through North Star Ranch last year, the Browns return to survey the destruction.

With many struggling to cope in the aftermath, father Billy inspires big, new adventure to keep the dream alive, including the hunt for gold and an epic voyage back to Alaska.

But then, unthinkable tragedy strikes, and leaves the family picking up the pieces after the loss of their patriarch.

The Brown family is dedicating this season to their beloved patriarch, Billy Brown.

He was a trailblazer, and the family will strive to keep his dreams and sense of adventure alive for generations to come.

In the weeks prior to the wildfire, the Brown family discovers gold mine entrances on unexplored areas of their land, leading siblings, Bird, Rain and Bear to explore more than 70 feet below ground.

Following the wildfire that swept through the mountain, the Wolfpack returns to their homestead to assess the damage and decide if the dream they've been building in Washington is worth carrying on.

But some of the Browns struggle to push forward on their mountain home and long for life back in Alaska.

Just as the family begins to recover from the fire, they suffer their most devastating test yet - with the loss of their revered patriarch, Billy.

A father, a husband, and a hero to the pack - the loss creates a seismic shift in the Brown family as they question the will to carry on.

The dream Billy fought so hard to achieve for his family - hangs in the balance.
